AIIB’sInvestmentOperationsaredividedintotworegionalteams,1and2.EachregionalteamisledbyaVicePresident(VP)andreportingstaffincludesclientrelationsspecialists,technicalspecialistsandbankers.Region1isresponsibleforSouthEastAsia,thePacificIslands,andSouthAsia(exceptPakistanandAfghanistan),whileRegion2coversPakistan,Afghanistan,CentralAsia,EastAsia,WestAsia,Europe,AfricaandLatinAmerica.TheBankingDepartmenthasthefollowingbusinesslines:(i)CapitalMarketsandStructuredProducts,(ii)DigitalInfrastructureandOtherProductiveSectors,(iii)FinancialInstitutionsandSyndication,and(iv)PrivateEquity.

TheSeniorInvestmentOfficer/InvestmentOfficerisexpectedtoworkwithotherteammembersintheoriginationandexecutionofdebtmarketinvestments(suchasloansandguarantees),equitymarketinvestments(suchasindirectequityinvestmentsviaprivateequityfundsaswellasdirectequityinvestmentsbothincorporateplatformsandinspecificprojects),and/orcapitalmarketinvestments(suchascorporatebonds,greenbonds,projectbondsandotherasset-backedsecurities).TheSeniorInvestmentOfficer/InvestmentOfficerisexpectedtoworkcloselywithotherrelevantAIIBdepartments.

Responsibilities:

Originationandexecutionofinvestmentprojectsintherelevantmandatedareas;

Performresearchonprojectsandclients;

Arrangeandprepareforclientmeetings,includingthepreparationofpresentations,memosandreports,etc.;

RepresenttheBankingDepartmentininternalmeetingsandassistincoordinationandreporting;

Asprojectlead,conductduediligenceandapprovalprocesses,withemphasisonensuringthatkeyeconomic,financial,technical,andlegalissuesareconsideredandmitigantsincorporatedinthefinancingstructureandlegaldocuments;

Analyzefinancialstatementsandassistprojectteamleadersinstructuringtransactions;prepareprojectandcorporatefinancialmodels;

SupportinternalBankcoordinationthroughinformationexchangesandteamworkwithrelevantdivisionsoftheBank;supporttheBankingDepartmentachieveitstargetsandobjectives;

PerformadhoctasksassignedbyseniormanagementoftheDepartment.
